A definite Phlog – This was the best Challenge Cup Final for a few years especially for a neutral.  Walking to the ground the place seemed to be full of Hull FC fans, I imagine Hull will have been half empty.

The journey was worth their while as their team came from behind as Warrington took a 10 nil lead.  Hull had never won a final at Wembley and it looked like it would stay that way, but tries from Mahe Fonua and full-back Shaul, both converted by Marc Sneyd gave Hull the lead.

Warrington looked to be on the way to scoring the winning try, I thought I was taking a photo of Ben Currie scoring that try, but I was getting a shot of Danny Houghton who had played a brilliant game, making a try saving tackle.

The game finished Warrington 10 Hull FC 12 – the voodoo had been broken, it was great to see Gareth Ellis lift the trophy!
