Tom Banton opening with Kamran Akmal was dropped from the first ball of the innings, but he was out to a screaming catch by Afridi 4 balls later. With the exception of Haider Ali who played some great cricket to reach 47, the wickets fell at a steady pace and Peshawar were bowled out for 123. Sohail TAnvir took 4 for 13 in his 3.3 overs.
In reply Multan lost early wickets falling to 47 for 4 in the 7th over. But Rilee Rossouw and Khushdil Shah saw their team home to the win with some ease. They scored the runs required with 5.1 overs remaining. Giving the full, home crowd a great spectacle and a great win.
