At 50 for 3 Lahore were looking in some trouble, Fakhar had been out for 15, T20 specialist Chris Lynn hit just 27 and Pakistan senior man Hafeez was despatched for a Golden Duck. Ben Dunk, the 32 year old Australian and Samit Patel put on 155 for the 4th wicket in just over 12 overs. So, both men threw their bat and both were then out in the final over giving Ben Cutting 2 for 36 from his 3 overs. The 209 amassed by Lahore is the highest score in this years’ PSL.

Quetta lost 6 wickets for just 94 runs, Ben Cutting was the only player to pass the 50 mark. He and Ben Dunk top the Strike Rate table for the Championship so far. With Dunk standing at 200 and Cutting 189.71, but it was Dunk whose innings largely won this game for Lahore, he broke the record for the most 6’s in a PSL game today too, with Ten! Salman Irshad’s 4 for 30 definitely contributed too! This was a valuable first win for Lahore.
