I know I keep saying I’m going to make these blogs a Phlog – lots of photos not so many words – but I can’t seem to stop typing one I start!
But, for Event 69 I really do mean it – Bath Rugby v Saracens – The Premiership Final! Something of a big game!
I’ve already written my view of the match for In The Loose – here’s the link if you fancy a read – http://intheloose.com/2015/05/31/bath-rugby-v-saracens-the-aviva-premiership-final/
Now how to get all my photos in without rambling on too much! My report says it all as far as the game’s concerned really.
So I’m pretty much just going to go for it! Photos galore to remember in colour what was a wonderful afternoon!
Another fact from the day however – 323 children from around the country descended on the hallowed turf at Twickenham Stadium to set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Longest human representation of a mathematical equation.
You can read more about that wonderful feat at http://www.premiershiprugby.com/news/36082.php#jZikVjgJDf11kAtE.99
The line up was to make known the fact that Aviva Tackling Numbers uses physical number-based touch rugby games integrated with interactive classroom maths lessons to make learning about numbers fun, exciting and rewarding.
Aviva Premiership Rugby clubs regularly visit their local schools to show how fun maths can really be.
This all shows how there’s so much more to rugby than rugby – great work being done with sport at its centre!
Having told you all about this wonderful initiative I’m now going to let the photos do the talking for once!
